Cereus is a night-blooming plant with silvery-white flowers that smell strongly of vanilla.
It is found only in warm, damp, swampy conditions, and favours Genua and the Counterweight Continent.
Cereus causes mild confusion, and is best mixed with other ingrediants, such as Skullcap to enhance its effect.<.p>

Clematis is a tall herb, with striped red and green leaves and large white flowers.
It is found mostly in the warm, damp, swampy conditions of Genua.
This herb when ingested, irritates the eyes and throat giving rise to a flow of tears that eventually become so severe that the person drowns in their own bodily fluids.

A low-growing herb with dark, shining, smooth leaves and pure white blossoms that rise directly from the roots.
Hellebore seems to like the swampy conditions of Genua and does not grow elsewhere.
Hellebore is a violent narcotic, and thus can result in stupor, coma, convulsions or death.

Hemlock is a tall herb with an unpleasant mousy smell. It has small white flowers that branch off a yellow stem.
Grows wild in the plains that surround Ankh-Morpork, as well as in some parts of Genua.
It causes a general feeling of illness, which can last for some time after ingestion. Most potent when combined with snake venom.

A low herb, with lush, dark green leaves and tiny blue flowers. The flowers have a strange helmet like shape to them.
Skullcap is found mostly in humid, swampy conditions.
Once treated, ingestion can cause acute confusion and disorientation. This effect can be increased by combining it with Cereus and various other ingredients.

A tall firm herb with large, whitish leaves and nearly globular green-yellow flowers.
Wormwood grows all over the Disc, from shady areas in woods and forests to the swamps of Genua.
It causes strange yet very specific hallucinations when treated correctly. Is the main ingrediant in Absinthe.
