[edit] Usage
This template puts a bold orange warning at the top of the page and adds it to Category:Articles flagged for speedy deletion. It should be added as the very first line on pages that are obvious candidates for deletion (e.g. vandalism, test pages, etc.) and whose deletion would be uncontentious. For all other cases use {{delete|reason}}.

This template should not be used on pages that are not obvious candidates for deletion or whose deletion would be contentious. Use {{delete}} for that. |
[edit] Parameters
The parameter taken by the template is the reason the article has been flagged for deletion. If no reason is given, the default reason is "see the talk page for details". Giving a reason is encouraged, but not essential if an administrator could clearly see that this page is an obvious candidate for deletion.

When filling out the reason parameter, you should sign it so people know who flagged the page for deletion. To do this, simply end the reason with - ~~~~. |
